I don't think newer moto phones are picky about resistance (pum intended) because of Qualcomm quick charge tech now.Īnd bonus questions since I want to test drive a new civic, what exactly are all the input options? Does it still have HDMI? And you have to plug in your phone to USB to use Android auto/apple carplay correct? That's pretty lame if you do. If you used something like the older Samsung 2.1A charger it would default to 500mah charging. Moto basically turned USB into almost proprietary USB because you could only get more than 500mah charge from Motorola chargers.

Older motorola phones, before Qualcomm quickcharge, were very picky about the chargers. I am aware that the new civics have a 1.5A USB port but is it compatible to charge any device that will accept that much amperage? Some phones are very picky about the pins and resistors used to get maximum output from. Lost a very useful power point, which the USB port does not even remotely make up for since it only outputs 450mah and the 3.5mm missing is aggravating. And do the 10th gens have 2 12v plugs? That also pissed me off when I traded my '13 for a '14. 9th gens transcoded FLAC to mp3 which is waste of processing power. Only way to get audio to play FLAC natively.

Over Bluetooth? It is very upsetting ho.da has done away with auxiliary/3.5mm jacks.
